Memories on Milledge p. 5 PBF Cathy Hughes Quick '65 has two grandsons, Cole and Chase, who attend Savannah Christian Preparatory School. Cole plays football for the middle school and Chase plays soccer. Cathy's daughter, Cindy Burnsed, is the guidance counselor for Savannah's lower grades. Her son, Jason, is a real estate agent with Judge Realty. Cathy's favorite interests are gardening, sewing, crochet and swim aerobics. She served on the Our Kids board of directors for two years. Email: grj5007@bellsouth.net Susan Brooks Bryant '78 began her second career three years ago when she left the world of preschoolers and became a special educator teaching music to 70 students with special needs. She also serves as a job coordinator for their older students, helping them find employment in the community. Life is busy and good. Email: sbbryant58@aol.com Kim Lewter Shupe '86 and her husband, Chris, UGA alumnus and former football player, have been married for 26 years. He is currently program director for WUGA. Kim and Chris have lived just outside Athens for 15 years. Their son is a junior at Limestone College in South Carolina and is on the football team on scholarship. Their daughter is a freshman at Georgia Southern studying mass communications. Kim is celebrating 16 years in real estate sales in Georgia. Her son, Graham, is a junior and daughter Catherine is a freshman at Byron Nelson High School. Both are in the Academy of Biomedical Science. Kiersten is a full-time mother, lifetime wife, and part-time virtual sales and office manager. She is a member of the Georgia Educational Leaders Association and Aspiring Principal Program. Ginny married Season Weaver in August 2005, and they are still going strong after 12 years. They have renovated their home and had their first child in January. Jacquelyn in involved in their local church and neighborhood community association. She and her husband work full time but enjoy hosting friends, traveling, hiking, UGA games, good coffee shops and concerts.
