P: Ken is our singer, Stephen plays the guitar, Bryant also plays guitar while Wade handles the bass and backing vocals. When and where did your band get started? P: In November of 2011 Vann and Wade met through a friend and decided to put something together. Then, Stephen came along, then Bryant. Eventually, Ken replaced the original singer of this project. Our fi rst show was in May of 2012 and we have been performing three shows a month since. UCW: How did the band get its name? P: Vann googled the net for PYTHON. No one else used that name for a band. UCW: How would you defi ne your music? P: Right now we are a cover band, but we are currently working on some original material. UCW: Who are your favorite bands/infl uences on your music? P: Dio, Priest and the early rock or metal bands. UCW: Do you write your own music and, if so, from where does that inspiration come? P: Soon we will be writing our own music. Inspiration will surely come from personal experiences with life. UCW: If you only had two words to describe your band what would they be? P: Unique and defi nitive. UCW: What are your hopes/goals for the future of your band? P: Our desire is to play songs that capture the attention of the audience and to headline shows. UCW: Where do you see the band fi ve years, 10 years from now? P: Playing to large crowds at events and venues regionally. UCW: Where can Fayetteville music lovers check you in the near future? P: We'll be at BarMuda Triangle bar on Nov. 30.
