Arkansas Country Doctor
Museum
e Arkansas Country
Doctor Museum preserves and
celebrates the history of health
care in rural America and of the
people who served their fellow
man by providing that health
care. Housed in a building
which served as the home of
three doctors and as primary
clinic for the small town of
Lincoln, Arkansas, from 1936
to 1973, the museum presents
the life of a small town doctor
and the history of medicine
as it was practiced in the early
20th century. e Arkansas
Country Doctor Museum is
located in Lincoln, just west of
Prairie Grove and Fayetteville
on Highway 62. e museum
includes many exhibits both
indoors and out, so plan
to spend an hour or more
exploring.
Lincoln Public Library
Lincoln Public Library offers
free of charge to its patrons:
books, DVDs, audio books,
music, etc. ere are also free
instructional classes in knitting,
crochet and preparedness. e
library also hosts preschool
story time and a teen book club.
The Lincoln Lake Trail meanders through forest and lowlands on the way
around Lincoln Lake. Misty Murphy rides here on the east side of the lake.
