Tau Kappa Epsilon
Epsilon Chapter
224 Ash Ave.
Ames, IA 50014
Dear Alumni of Epsilon:
I am pleased to learn of Epsilon Chapter's decision to renovate the chapter house at 224 Ash
Ave. Iowa State appreciates the leadership Epsilon undergraduates have provided the university
for over 100 years. Your alumni have assumed key business, professional, political, and
academic positions throughout the nation.
The Greek system has a long and proud tradition at Iowa State University and plays an
important role in the lives of its members. The university administration is supportive of the
fraternities and sororities that make so many significant contributions and whose alumni remain
loyal to their alma mater.
The standards for student housing at Iowa State are increasing each year. Today's students
require sufficient space and technology to support their complex lifestyles and dynamic
academic needs. Many fraternities and sororities are planning and carrying out renovations to
address these needs.
I applaud the launching of a capital campaign to remodel and expand your chapter house while
also working to double your scholarship endowment. I support and wish you great success
in achieving your goals for this important effort. Your decision to provide an excellent living
environment will enhance the overall university experience for your undergraduates. I hope
all Epsilon alumni respond to this capital campaign with a degree of generosity that reflects an
appreciation for what Epsilon Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon and Iowa State have done for them.
The successful completion of this project can only be realized through the generous support of
alumni like you.
Sincerely,
Wendy Wintersteen
President
