Scoops for Schools is a collaborative philanthropic event with the FarmHouse Fraternity, during which chapter members served homemade ice cream sandwiches with Cookie Co. cookies. Over $5,700 was donated to Lincoln Lighthouse. We had another successful French Toast Feed and raised $5,800 to support Girls on the Run at the national and local levels. This spring we are excited to announce Gamma Phi Beta's newest philanthropic event, Moonball, a volleyball tournament where members of the campus community are invited to participate in and support girls on the run. Our dedication to our philanthropic efforts is expanding, and the members' understanding of Gamma Phi Beta's philanthropic mission – Building Strong Girls – is building a strong foundation at Pi Chapter. REAL LEADERSHIP The newly elected Executive Council members, alongside our chapter advisor, Kelsey Hohlen '06, traveled to Chicago in January to attend the REAL Leadership Conference. We collaborated with other chapters and improved in our leadership roles. What a tremendous opportunity it was to experience the sorority in such a memorable way and recognize the significant impact this organization has had on so many women! EXECUTIVE EFFORTS Additionally, our executive team has made attainable goals for this semester. We are excited to work together as leaders for this team and our chapter. Our mission statement is as follows: "We promise to inspire positive change, both individually and as a chapter, while embodying our four core values." We are looking forward to a great spring semester and have many exciting events to look forward to.
