"Mu has produced a peerless band of moral men, from James C. Colgate to Robert Blackmore, over the past 160 years, and it is easy to see the lasting influence of Mu on the Colgate community," he said. For Trevor, the reasons for joining such a jolly Fraternity, and the pride that comes with it, are self-evident. At Colgate, Trevor was elected as a representative for the Leadership Council both his junior and senior years and was co-captain of the club baseball team with Karl Hommeyer '17. Additionally, Trevor graduated magna cum laude with a double major in philosophy, awarded with honors, and history. "My time at Colgate went by so fast." Trevor fondly remembers looking back; "It was such a fabulous mad and mystic ride!" Trevor is a 1L at Cornell Law School. The work in law school is certainly challenging and he often finds himself leaving the library with a fevered brain, but he remains compelled. "I feel fortunate to be surrounded by such bright young people," he said. After law school, Trevor plans to pursue work in commercial litigation. When he is not studying, he enjoys live music and hiking the gorges of Ithaca. Trevor can be reached at tobryan@colgate.edu. Join our LinkedIn group today! The stoic twin pines that have been guarding the southeast corner of 112 Broad Street for generations (seen here in 1991) will be removed by the Foundation in the near future due to safety concerns. Mystic Circle A brother dead and brothers mourning Fill the heart with grief today, And the earnest grasp fraternal; Speaks, "a dear one passed away." Yes, no longer we shall greet thee In the halls of DKE, Yet thy name in sweet remembrance Graven on our hearts will be. We have parted, Brother, parted, As we trust, to meet again, In a full unbroken circle, Free from sorrow, grief and pain. James Cochran '47 Alfred Padden '68 Thomas P. Halley '73 A.
