WELL OWNER'S WORKSHOP A three-hour workshop will be held in Bouse on December 16 at 1 o'clock to better acquaint domestic water well owners in our area with care and maintenance of their wells to provide safe drinking water and protect their investment. Presenters of the workshop: from the University of Arizona Coopera- tive Extension, Janick Artiola, Ph.D, Water Quality Specialist, and Gary Hix, Past President of the AZ Wa- ter Well Association, will be happy to answer questions from attendees during this program and provide electronic and printed materials to each attendee for future reference. Their program will include well water regulations, routine well op- eration and maintenance, naturally occurring contaminants, when and how to sample your water, and home water treatment options to name a few. Attendees are asked to pre-regis- ter for this workshop to enable us to provide the number of chairs and materials for handouts. These gen- tlemen are traveling from Tucson to present this program and we want to be set up to provide the best envi- ronment to benefit both attendees and our presenters. Please call Pat Walch at 208-949-9022 to regis- ter so we'll have available seats for all. For more detailed info, please check the Bouse Library, Museum, and other town bulletin boards for a flyer.
