MU MESSENGER
Fall 2017

lthough the weather could have been better, it was a beautiful day for
the Mu chapter house dedication on October 22, 2017. Mu chapter
collegians, alumnae, friends and guests gathered at 900 S. Providence to
celebrate our new home. It is truly spectacular!
More than 350 people attended the dedication and ribbon cutting
ceremony as we recognized and thanked many: Mu chapter house
corporation board, the building committee, the interior decorating
committee, the campaign committee and the corporate companies that
made our dream come true.
And thank YOU, our loyal alumnae and collegians, who helped make this
day a reality by donating more than $1.5 million to the Anchored in Tradition:
Honoring Our Past, Building Our Future campaign! YOU made it possible
for Delta Gamma to have an updated yet historically significant gateway
to Greek town that will provide our sisters with state-of-the-art living and
educational opportunities for many years to come.
"The team did an extraordinary job with every single detail, both practical
and decor-wise! I can't imagine the organization, constant communication
and just overall logistics it took to complete such a massive, heartfelt
undertaking." –Michelle Rollins Tandy '87
Each of us is a Delta Gamma member for life. We may leave Mu chapter
house, but it will always be our home where we learned, shared memories
and made lasting friendships. It is where we return to visit, have celebrations
and reunions.
Your generosity ensures that Delta Gamma has a sound future at
Mizzou. Thank you!
In our eternal bonds of sisterhood and friendship,
