BETA MU IS ON A ROLL Momentum from Historic Convention Continues through Fall Semester A s we begin our fourth year post-recolonization, the Beta Mu Chapter continues to move in a positive direction. Of course the recent achievements of note occurred at last summer's Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. We regained our charter and are an official Chapter in good standing with Beta Theta Pi. For the first time in Beta Mu history, we won the prestigious John Reilly Knox award. In addition, Sean Eddington was awarded House Director of the Year, and Cary Wood '89 was re-elected as a Trustee of the General Fraternity. Thanks to the alumni for your support and encouragement during this process. Homecoming occurred on September 23, whereby the alumni and undergraduates reconnected the bonds of brotherhood and celebrated the Chapter's recent success. Thanks to all who attended; we hope to grow this event in the future. Alumni will be able to get together again as a group on March 24, 2018, as we formally celebrate the chartering. An installation ceremony is in the planning stages. All alumni are invited. We will provide more information in the coming weeks. As we conclude the capital campaign, we thank all who have provided financial support as it was a necessary ingredient for our recent success. We will now transition to our normal annual dues process. We are asking that all alumni please participate by paying a yearly fee of $75. Remember, we as alumni own the house and your support is still needed. These funds allow us to provide ongoing maintenance to the house as well as pay for the website communications and the Link. An envelope is enclosed for your convenience. Yours in _kai_, Tom Hoover '82 House Corporation President
