Out Of Sight Dinner Hellenic Center This unique fundraiser provides a good dinner and a good time – and also lets blindfolded diners experience what it's like to cope with blindness. Fayetteville Chamber Orchestra Berean Baptist Church Haydn's "Symphony No. 1" will be among the pieces performed by this community chamber orchestra whose performances are free and open to the public. A Dickens Holiday Downtown Fayetteville Take a step back in time during this re- markable event when downtown trans- forms into a Victorian-era holiday ver- sion of itself. There will be horse-drawn carriages, old-fashioned treats and people in period dress. The candlelight procession to the Market House about 5 p.m. is a treat as are the fireworks af- terwards. NOVEMBER 24 – DECEMBER 4 DECEMBER 15-17 It's A Wonderful Life Gilbert Theater It's a wonderful live version of the story of George Bailey – and his discovery of what the world would have been like had he never been born. Christmas Tree Lighting Main Post Parade Field on Fort Bragg Santa and Mrs. Claus may be the head- liners but the Golden Knights will also drop in, literally, to show that Rudolph isn't the only one who knows how to fly. The hilarious Christmas clas- sic is about Grace Bradley's struggles to put on the church Christmas pageant, with the most inventively awful kids in history.
