CityViewNC.com | 67 FAYETTEVILLE, NC BRANCH S ometimes it's better to be lucky than good"…as the saying goes. Well, for this group of women advisors at Morgan Stanley, luck had very little to do with it. Good old fashioned hard work and quite a bit of passion were the key ingredients for making these women pillars in our community. ey are standing out as entrepreneurs and mentors and have spent many years together making a difference. Five of these women have worked together as financial advisors for nearly 20 years at the same firm in the Fayetteville office. is is rare in an industry that sees significant attrition. What is even more remarkable is that the current ratio of women advisors in the Fayetteville office is over 50% which is a statistical anomaly in an industry that has historically been male-dominated. Although they each manage their own wealth management practices, they support each other in work, life, and community involvement. ey believe in giving back. ey listen and step up to help, whether it is for children in Cumberland County to have the required reading skills to succeed in school or to provide food when children experience hunger. ey are recognized leaders in local non-profits such as Women's Giving Circle; United Way; Connections of Cumberland County; Fayetteville Urban Ministry; and FSU Youth Entrepreneurship, just to name a few. Accomplishing tough assignments are some of their greatest attributes. In a world of regulations that are constantly changing – their hunger for learning has proven invaluable and that level of understanding directly benefits clients. ese women not only possess a keen understanding of the investment world, but also an innate ease in listening to and communicating with their clients on how to build custom investment portfolios and develop planning strategies based on client goals. ey bring decades* of experience and offer a wealth of knowledge and wisdom serving as advisors to successful people across many industries. Why should this matter to you? Over the next several decades there will be a significant percentage of wealth that will be transferred due to the large demographic of baby boomers. A vast amount of that wealth transfer will be inherited by women. Understanding financial matters is more critical now than ever. Is your family prepared for life's hurdles and transitions? A dedicated advisor at Morgan Stanley is ready to assist you with a goal-based strategy giving you a road map to help achieve the financial future you envision. Critical life events can happen suddenly and catch you off guard.
