Epsilon Beta's Proud History S ince our founding on March 10, 1956, Kappa Kappa Gamma has been at the center of Colorado State's Greek life. Epsilon Beta's first home was a small French provincial/early American-style house, used until Colorado State's enrollment increased, the Panhellenic quota changed, and the chapter needed more space. In 1960, the chapter moved to our present home. Our chapter house at 729 South Shields Street remains the focus of Kappa's undergraduate life and has served as a home away from home for our sisters, retaining a strong presence on the Colorado State campus for over 60 years. Our members have pursued and attained high levels of academic achievement, and we have been leaders in virtually every aspect of student life at CSU. Epsilon Beta has influenced the lives of more than 1,400 initiates over some of the most developmental years of their lives, cultivating lasting friendships in the process. As alumnae, we can trace many of our best memories back to our Kappa Kappa Gamma experience. More than ever, sororities play a significant role in the development of young women, and this growth is crucial in today's competitive world. In addition to the standards taught by our sisterhood, our members acquire valuable assets, which include leadership skills, organizational skills, social skills, teamwork, and character building. These traits have been integral to our personal success and helped make us the women we are today. Our goal now is to ensure that not only do we continue the friendship and personal development that comes with being an Epsilon Beta Kappa, but that we also offer a safe, comfortable, and modern home to accommodate our members for years to come. " " "I have seen so much growth at Epsilon Beta over the past six years. Physically, the chapter has grown in size to over 200 members and the house is bursting at the seams. More importantly, however, the integrity of the chapter has grown exponentially. The women of Epsilon Beta have risen to and exceeded the challenge of improving chapter morale, academics, reputation, and respect. The chapter won the Chapter President of the Year and the Excellence in Risk Management awards from the CSU Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life last semester! Additionally, CSU's Office of Student Affairs is fully aware of and impressed with the strides Epsilon Beta has made. I am so proud of these extraordinary young women!" – Pam Maloney Wolf 1981
