Just as a parent's involvement is important in the lives of their children, our alumnae involvement is important in the lives of our active sisters. By giving our time, energy, and resources, we show our active members that Kappa is for a lifetime. It helps them understand that they are currently entrusted with upholding a tradition of excellence. It helps them know we are proud of them for continuing the tradition! Now we are tasked with expanding our beloved chapter house to ensure the continued success of Kappa at CSU. We hope you will take the next step with us to secure Epsilon Beta's future. MAXIMIZING YOUR IMPACT Due to the magnitude of our objectives, we are urging all alumnae to consider major gifts to the campaign. In order for each alumna to maximize her participation, gifts can be structured over a five- year pledge period. However, early gifts or pledge payments to the campaign are preferable to help reduce borrowing costs. Gifts in honor or in memory of other Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters, as well as family gifts, are welcome. Recognition in such cases will be given to both the donor(s) and the honoree. DONOR RECOGNITION Each of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the history of Epsilon Beta. How appropriate that then that each of our names be entered into its halls. Each donor who contributes $2,500 or more will be recognized on a prominently displayed plaque within the renovated chapter house. All donors contributing to the campaign will be recognized in campaign publications, unless otherwise requested. TAX-DEDUCTIBLE GIFTS The Internal Revenue Service will allow exclusively educational space in the chapter house to be funded with tax-deductible dollars that are gifted to the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation and designated for the Epsilon Beta Chapter. Your investment in Epsilon Beta directly impacts the lives of our current and future members. Today, perhaps more than ever, it is important that we provide young college women with an environment that offers a solid foundation for their education and affords them opportunities for high academic achievement and the development of leadership and social skills. The commitment we make today cannot be underestimated—it will have a far-reaching effect on the lives of our Epsilon Beta sisters for years to come. " " "During the summer of 1975, I wrote a Kappa newsletter to all my pledge sisters. I recently found this newsletter as I was digging through some old memories and realized Kappa means as much to me today as it did back then. Don't forget to let your sisters know you're thinking of them while we are apart. No lapse of time nor distance of place can lessen the friendships of those who are thoroughly persuaded of each other's love." – Sue Tenneson Kelly 1973
