Box 442100 Lawrence, KS 66044 Address Service Requested Cornell Alpha Beta Alumnae Alpha Beta Data Fall 2017 "Some of my dearest friends are Alpha Betas." In each city she has lived in, Andrea made a point to reach out to sisters in the area, attending alumnae chapter events whenever possible. "I was president of the Los Angeles Westside Alumnae Chapter when I lived there, and I attend alumnae events in Milwaukee today." Andrea enjoys mentoring, traveling, time with family and friends, and engaging her inner "foodie" by dining out. She likes spinning, rowing, TRX, and Bikram yoga in her leisure time, noting, "When I am physically healthy and strong, my intellectual and emotional health strengthens." Andrea volunteers, is heavily involved with the Cornell Hotel Society and the Cornell Club of Wisconsin, and serves as co-chairman of the Marcus Corporation's United Way campaign. She returns to campus at least once each year, and last visited the Alpha Beta house in 2016 for her 20th class reunion. Women supporting other women is a fiber of Andrea's moral foundation, and she emphasizes how being surrounded by sisters with the same values is a regular source of inspiration in her life. "You get as much, if not more, from your Tri Delta and Alpha Beta Chapter sisterhood as an alumna (pansy) as you do as an active (pine), provided you put your heart into it," she said. "Get comfortable being uncomfortable to live a truly fulfilled life. Lean on your sisters, and let them lean on you."
