Project Highlights
2nd Floor
• e existing north/south wing will
remain the primary residential space and
connect to the new wing.
• A basement (not shown in the floor
plans) would provide ample space to be
used for pomping during Homecoming
preparation, dance rehearsals for Spring
Sing and Freshman Follies. Plus, the large
common space and storage area will alle-
viate substantial "wear and tear" from the
new social/common areas on the first and
second floors.
• A new facade design will bring our fa-
cility in line with the Georgian-style archi-
tecture typical at OSU.
• Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing sys-
tems that are both comfortable and efficient.
• New rooms with semi-private bath-
rooms are designed to retain our upper-
classmen and incent our best brothers to
become officers—a direct investment in the
leadership and mentorship that educates
youth and inspires maturity. ese will be
some of the most desirable Greek rooms on
campus.
• A new dining hall will be designed
to optimize the flow of 100+ brothers and
guests as well as provide a separate snack
bar for members over the weekend.
• Ample study and meeting space will
be the centerpiece of the second floor. It
will be functional (quiet, well-lit, internet
access) and conducive to scholastics and
doing the work of the fraternity.
