Academically, brothers are joining reputable clubs and organizations around campus. We are maintaining a strong cu- mulative GPA, which sits higher than the campus average. The new- est pledge class has started their journey learning about Sigma Chi's traditions, brotherhood, and history. Philanthropy and Brotherhood To help celebrate Merlin Olsen Day, the chapter kept its tradition of hosting our annual Strawberry Creek cleanup. We joined forces with several sororities to help brighten our community and honor this Sig- nificant Sig. The annual Alumni Steak Dinner was a great success with more than a dozen alumni from all over the Bay Area attending. Alumni imparted their knowledge on the new class, as they got their first real taste of Sigma Chi brotherhood and how it lasts beyond four years. Cal football has given us the opportunity to enjoy the company of several alumni who have taken the time to stop by the house on game days. We would like to welcome alumni to the house before the season is over.
