Omicron Chapter of Alpha Phi 7 Susan Smith Vogliardo '80 says that after 65 years, her extended family sold Dick Smith Ford in January 2016. "I began working at Catholic Charities in May 2016 and I absolutely love it. They do such incredible work for so many people of all faiths." She and Joe, her husband of 34 years, live in Leawood, Kan., and have three children: Jennifer, Katie, and Andrew. Katie married David Bartlett in November 2015, Andrew married Lisa Ringstrand in July 2016, and Jennifer returned to KC after living in China for six years. E-mail: suesues6@hotmail.com Melissa Clark '81 was one for 23 nationwide individuals to be inducted into the prestigious Public Relations Society of America's College of Fellows. The honorary organization, comprised of more than 300 members, recognizes those who have left a significant footprint on the public relations profession. The honor recognizes Melissa's work as a senior public relations professional and her commitment to excellence, leadership, advancement of the profession, and service as a role model. Melissa serves as the senior manager of public affairs for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma. She lives in Tulsa, Okla. E-mail: mkclarkpr@gmail.com Cathleen McCrady Heinsohn '81, Omicron House Corporation Board's president-elect, was recently in Dallas on business and took some time to go to Waco to shop at Chip and Joanna Gaines' store, Magnolia Silos, as seen in HGTV's "Fixer Upper." When getting ready to check out, Cathy was shocked when they told her they couldn't accept her payment. They then handed her a note saying her purchase was covered by Chip Gaines. Needless to say, she was thrilled! She's also very excited that her youngest daughter, Victoria, is one of Omicron's new members this fall. Cathy and her husband, Mike, live in Saint Charles, Mo. She and her husband, Mark, live in Independence, Mo., and have two children, Jennifer and Mitchell. Jennifer is in Topeka, Kan., working as a research attorney. She and her husband had their first child and Laura's first grandchild in October 2016. Mitchell is a musician in Nashville, Tenn. Ann spoke at two industry conferences on the essentials of IT asset disposition and challenges of IT asset disposition, wrote and had two papers published, and traveled for R2 as a member of the technical advisory committee for the R2 Standard. She and her significant other, Travis, recently moved to 10 acres and are thrilled to have their four horses in their "backyard." They adopted a Blue Heeler named Kota who has fit in perfectly with their two cats. The seven animals, 10 acres, and pool keep them busy but very happy. Last spring, Gema was selected secretary of the Omaha Public Schools Foundation, which is currently ranked second in the nation for K-12 education foundations. She is also in her second year of a three-year term as part of the CHI Health Nebraska Women's Service Line Leadership Council.
