(800) 276-6342 • omegafi.com Community Relations A key to our success will be selling the expansion in the community. Two things will happen. Once the drawings are complete, we will be making a presentation to the residents who are in close proximity to the House. We want them to be our allies as we move out into the community to gain additional support. Our neighbors play a very important role in getting our plans through the preservation group and city's zoning and permitting. Our ultimate goal is to maintain the current integrity of the structure while updating the facility to maintain a safe and updated living environment. We are looking for Charleston alumni who will help us with our community outreach program. We will begin going door-to-door with our proposals. All Bothers in Charleston are requested to participate. Please contact Brent Barnard '85, CIAA Secretary, at secretaryforciaa@gmail.com if you would like to be placed on the contact list. Which building plan do you think will be the easiest to move through the decision-makers? We really do need your help! Simultaneously, our plans will be submitted to the preservation group and city of Charleston. Our goal is to work through any objections by December 1, 2017. After that date, final drawing and contracts can be signed to begin the renovations. We are targeting May 10, 2018, to begin the year long process to transform the property. New Sage With Jonathan Casamajor not returning to school in the fall so that he can pursue a career as a Chicago firefighter, a new Sage has been named. We welcome Brenden Rosenbusch as the chapter's 64th Sage. We wish him great success as he moves the chapter to extraordinary achievements. Other members of the Executive Coun- cil are Ryan Frazier, First Counselor; Zach Wollenschallger, Second Coun- selor; Greg Gilfillan, Third Counselor; Malcolm Simmons, Fourth Counselor; Ryan Oseman; Herald. Their terms will end with the close of the school year.
