Parent's Club Supports Kansas Beta
T
o start the school year, our Parent's Club and the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon welcomed
incoming freshmen and their parents during move-in day. The day included a wonderful
lunch at the Chapter House. Mom Veith was there to welcome them all!
The men of SigEp enjoyed Dad's Weekend on October 7. The fun-filled day started with a
round of golf at Colbert Hills, then lunch and a watch party for the KSU vs. Texas game.
The following weekend, October 14, was Family Weekend, which was celebrated at the
Chapter House with a tailgate barbecue before the game.
In the spring, the men will welcome their mothers to the house for Mom's Weekend on April
14. Mom's Weekend will be celebrated with lunch, a silent auction, and other activities that
are still in the works!
We will continue to provide monthly pizza for dinner, starting one Sunday each month
beginning in September. The Parent's Club will be adding some upgrades to the house this
year from the contributions raised at Dad's and Mom's Weekend events.
Looking forward a great year!
Sincerely,
Joane Wilkerson Laura Hulsing
