TWO FALL EVENTS ARE COMING YOUR WAY FROM
THE GREATER FAYETTEVILLE CHAMBER
A RECURRING CLASSIC, AND SOMETHING BRAND NEW!
On Wednesday, September 20, the Chamber will again host its
State of the Community luncheon at the Crown Complex where
we will hear from our elected leaders about what is happening
across the city and county. With many new projects coming our
way, and more in the works, this is a chance to hear from the
source what we as residents and businesses can expect.
Invited to present are the Mayors of Fayetteville, Hope Mills and
Spring Lake, the new Garrison Commander at Fort Bragg, and
the Chairman of the County Board of Commissioners.
The lunch runs from 11AM to 1PM. Registration will open soon,
and sponsorships are available now by contacting Kelly Moore
at the Chamber, kmoore@faybiz.com.
Then get ready to polish that chrome and head on over to a
brand new event, Bikes & BBQ this October! This event, for
bikers and non-bikers alike, will be presented by the Greater
Fayetteville Chamber and will be held in late October.
The event will showcase new and classic bikes in a bike show,
and will allow attendees to taste some of the area's best
barbecue and craft beers. Music and vendors will add to
the festivities! And if you've never seen soccer played on a
motorcycle, or seen a bike ride down a string of two-by-fours,
this is your chance!
Tickets will go on sale late summer, but do save the date now
and plan to join us! If you're interested in being a vendor of
food, craft beer or merchandise.
Please contact Kelly Moore, Director of Programs
and Events at the Chamber at kmoore@faybiz.com.
If your bike club would like to participate and reserve
parking, you may also contact Kelly Moore.
