R E D S T O N E A C T S O F B R I G H T N E S S WATCH FOR THEM DURING 2017! 8 | r e d f c u.o r g I N O U R C O M M U N I T I E S Since the Redstone Acts of Brightness kicked off in February, thousands of lives have been brightened and dozens of businesses supported. Redstone's Brightness Crews have paid for gas, lunch, groceries, and coffee and donuts for people throughout North Alabama and Middle Tennessee. Once the good deed is done, all Redstone asks is that the recipient look for ways to brighten someone else's day. Many of the people our brightness crews met were already doing that very thing. "One of the beautiful things about this effort is that we meet so many other people who are out brightening lives as well,'' said Fred Trusty, Redstone executive vice president. "While buying groceries for residents in April, several people we helped were there buying groceries for others who needed a helping hand, '' he said. "It just shows you what wonderful communities we serve.'' Let's meet some of those generous people: • Jerry, of Huntsville, "Every now and then I'll go in the grocery store and buy about $30 worth of groceries and give them to the first homeless person I see just for the sake of being a blessing to someone else. Today, believe it or not, that karma came back. $276 worth of groceries completely free, paid for by Redstone Federal Credit Union, in an effort to brighten the faces of the community. Mission accomplished!" Redstone Federal Credit Union® sends its "Brightness Crew" out each month to do good deeds throughout the communities Redstone serves. Free gas – Murfreesboro, T N Free donuts – Guntersville, AL Free groceries – Fayet teville, T N
