GAMMA ZETA HOUSING CORPORATION ALPHA CHI OMEGA 1835 Todd Road Manhattan, KS 66502 Address Service Requested The Lyre Letter Alumnae Update Delores Wright Jennison '47 thanks her Gamma Zeta sisters for the beautiful flowers and letter they sent for her 90th birthday. She reports that about 60 people attended her birthday celebration and many others sent cards. "It is great to have so many friends," she says. With the help of her son, Dolores has a large lawn and a vegetable garden. Evangeline Starr Sheets '55 lives in Topeka, Kan. She shares that "being in the twilight season of my life, I feel so fortunate to have blessed memories of Alpha Chi Omega at KSU." She and her husband, Scott, have three children, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Janet Scott Broers '58 moved back to her family's farm in 2005 with her husband, Harley. The farm has been in her family since 1855, though she has since built a new home, horse barn, and equipment buildings. In their spare time, the Broers enjoy riding horses and are members and officers on the county Farm Bureau board and the Wellsville Historical Society. Janet obtained and wrote a grant to restore the first bank building in Wellsville to be used as the historical museum. Recently, she joined the Daughters of the American Revolution in Franklin County. Her youngest grandson, Scott, attends K-State. She has been with Mary Kay Cosmetics since 1981 and with Young Living Essential Oils since 2006. Susan is a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Preferred in Exton, Pa., and a music director at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in Malvern, Pa. E-mail: susanbell557@comcast.net ACW GAMMA ZETA CELEBRATES 70 YEARS Homecoming October 15-21 SAVE DATE lpha Chi Omega members returned home to celebrate 70 years of excellence at K-State. During K-State's Open House on April 1, active members welcomed back alumnae for house tours, refreshments, and sisterhood. Alumnae reconnected with sisters and revisited their college stomping grounds. Alumnae Relations Chairman Rachel Maneth '15, along with Rho Tau Rho President Rebecca Spexarth Robison '05 and House Corporation Events Chairman Allison Dorr '12, headed up the planning of the event. Fundraising Committee member Lizzie Penton '14 sold shirts and tumblers to raise funds for the chapter. Rebecca Nedrow '00, Kim Bartak '00, and Amy Bartak '01 celebrate Gamma Zeta's 70th birthday at the chapter house.
