Deborah Patterson Partridge '69 loves taking
care of her new grandbaby, Evelyn, when her
parents need a break. Her son, Thad, is moving
into his own home with a loving caretaker. "He is
our special child with Down Syndrome," she said.
"We're so fortunate to have his sister, Kameron,

Denise Gauntt Hawke '74 has moved back
to Dothan, Ala., and enjoyed a luncheon at the

Kathleen Nolen-Martin '75 retired as the
development director for William and Mary
College. She and her husband, Dr. Frederick
Martin, have one daughter, Molly, who is 16.

Janet McElheny Hudson '76 has a son who
lives and works in Japan where he met his wife.
While Jan only gets to see them about once a year,
she enjoys keeping up with them and watching
her granddaughter grow on weekly Skype visits.
Jan's other son is closer by in Birmingham.
