S ince 1918, Oregon Alpha has been at the heart of Greek life at Oregon State. Our proud history speaks for itself through high academic achievement and leadership within the University. With more than 2,000 initiates, Oregon Alpha has positively influenced the lives of our members, cultivating lasting friendships in the process. Many of our best college memories can be traced back to our SigEp experience. While many of our alumni have gone on to successful and distinguished careers in business, engineering, science, medicine, law, technology, agriculture, education, and countless other endeavors, the common bond of our brotherhood remains, along with our shared principles and values. We trace the roots of our success to Dr. Ulysses Grant "U.G." Dubach '18 and his assertion that SigEps be "uncommon men." rough Sigma Phi Epsilon we not only learned the importance of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love, but we acquired valuable skills, including leadership, communication, organization, interpersonal relationships, teamwork, and, above all, character. ese traits have been integral to our personal success and helped make us the men we are today. is is a unique opportunity we have been presented with as our chapter nears its 100th anniversary. We're building on a tradition of excellence for the next century. the next 100 YeArs "We share a legacy of which we can all be very proud. SigEp has been a constant in my life for over 30 years; the friendships it fostered have grown into some of the most meaning ful personal and professional relationships I have ever experienced. is campaign is about honoring the past by investing in the future. By harnessing our resources we can ensure that our chapter is secure, poised to prosper, and ready to meet the many challenges the future will bring. Our times call for values-based leadership. We have an opportunity to continue to strengthen the foundation already laid while building even stronger programs that can set standards of personal development both on campus and off." – Gavin Brown '90 1
