5 alpha gamma rho TalenTed and diverse new member Class T his semester, Gamma Chapter brought in a new spring class of 14. Of this new class, there is a diverse pool of talents and knowledge—from students of immunology, infectious diseases, and engineers, to athletes and musicians, and men from all across the country. They have already shown an initiative of involvement in the house by actively participating in intramural sports and philanthropy. We will continue this eagerness toward aggressive effort in recruiting into the next semester, where we will get another slightly larger class of great men to continue the tradition of excellence at Gamma Chapter. Majoring in computer science He was previously employed in seasonal agro tourism for a local business with hayrides, pumpkin picking, and corn mazes outside Pittsburgh. Nick Bhaskar Pittsburgh, Pa. Majoring in finance He is seeking educational opportunities to intern in the field of agricultural consulting, some of which are through other active brothers. Dom Caprarola Moorestown, N.J. Undecided He is considering entering the field of business. David Gold Centreville, Va. Majoring in information of science and technology He is studying practical applications of technology to solve real-world issues such as global food insecurity. Max Harley Wilton, Conn. Majoring in finance or accounting He plans to connect with the brotherhood and exchange ideas for deciding what he wants to do after his undergraduate education. Hugh Hassan Pittsburgh, Pa. Majoring in energy engineering He is fascinated with industrial applications of renewable energy that promote sustainable resource utilization. Nick Litak Collegeville, Pa. Majoring in in chemistry and physics He is employed during summers as a field laborer on a local orchard. Austin Marrazza Martinsville, N.J. Majoring in immunology and infectious disease He is studying current technologies to prevent the spread of animal-borne illnesses from impacting human populations. Evan Martin Doylestown, Pa. Majoring in finance He plans to apply agribusiness management strategies in improving the profitability of his family's small agronomic farm in Doylestown, Pa. CJ McAninley Washington Twp., N.J. Majoring in accounting He is active in collegiate DECA, which emphasizes tactics for marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. Patrick Nolan Westford, Mass. Majoring in mechanical engineering He recently started his own landscaping company, which operates near his hometown. Chase Robina Basking Ridge, N.J. Majoring in mechanical engineering He is also interested in landscaping after working in a past job involving suburban landscape improvement. Alex Shapiro Marlboro, N.J. Majoring in public relations He is interning for a packaging plant this summer that specializes in tomato processing. Alex Takacs Pittsburgh, Pa. Majoring in architecture He is fascinated with designing functional structures that emphasize land optimization to reduce urban runoff and promote water sustainability. Our 14 newest members have brought immeasurable opportunities by enhancing social exchange in our goal of making better men and, through their experiences, developing a broader and better agriculture. Gamma Attends Regional Leadership COnference, Takes First Place in Homecoming R ecent highlights in alumni and undergraduate inter- actions that have occurred with Gamma Chapter include the undergraduate attendance at the Regional Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., with alumni board representative Stylianos Tsinaroglou '10 (Γ1564). At the conference, improvements were made in minimizing liability/risk management as well as broadening the connection of undergraduate brothers to ΑΓΡ partners with future scholarship opportunities to continue making better men. Another highlight includes our local Founder's Day which occurred on March 25 with 23 alumni in attendance for friendly brotherhood interaction, updates on recent events, and networking to undergraduates. We also celebrated Homecoming in October, where Gamma Chapter was paired with Alpha Delta Pi and together received first place out of every Greek and non-Greek organization involved for our superior involvement, talent in multiple competitions, and representation within the community.
