W
hat a year it's been for the Florida Nu Chapter. We
entered the spring semester with the top GPA—
3.25—among IFC chapters for the second semester in a
row. Additionally, the fall new member class achieved the
highest GPA in IFC new member class history with a 3.33.
This wasn't the only accomplishment Florida Nu had. We
were recognized by SigEp at this year's Carlson Leadership
Academy with an academic Excelsior Cup.
Beyond academics, recruitment was a success this spring
with 21 new members, including three FIU cross country
and track runners. As for community service, the men of
Florida Nu continued their partnership with the Buoniconti
Fund Block Party, helping out our local philanthropy. On
top of this, we helped at the 12th Man Camp where we had
the chance to work with children with disabilities and give
them an opportunity they never had before—to play football
and cheerlead.
Florida Nu had a significant boost in recruitment,
volunteering, academics, and intramurals this year. Last fall,
we reached the semifinals in flag football and softball. This
semester we're in the semifinals for basketball.
It's been an exciting year at FIU. We hope to continue this
success and keep the momentum going!
