We have been busy with schoolwork, sisterhood events, and philanthropic events. PHILANTHROPIC PURSUITS On February 17, we hosted our first philanthropic event of the year, Jam for Saint Jude. Members and guests enjoyed coffee, doughnuts, and live music on the Sigma Nu front lawn. We were also excited to host the Arts 'n Autism event at the Tri Delta House in March. Our philanthropy chairman, Mae Crumbley '15, is working hard to continue supporting St. Jude and to get the Chapter involved in the Tuscaloosa community! SISTERHOOD Membership Development Chairman Mae Spencer '14 has organized a number of exciting sisterhood events this semester. In January, we hosted a two-night Pure Barre event at the Tri Delta House and treated members to manicures. As always, our annual Valentine's Day dinner was a blast. Everyone is looking forward to a fun-filled semester and continuing to celebrate our sisterhood. ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS Delta Mu earned an impressive 3.51 GPA during the fall 2016 semester. This means we are ranked fourth out of the 18 Panhellenic sororities on campus. Academic Development Chairman Baily Martin '15 is improving Chapter academics with strengthened in-house tutoring. We are also so proud of Baily for becoming a member of Capstone Men and Women this spring! TRI DELTA PROUD Delta Mu had the privilege to host Mari Ann Callais, the senior director of special initiatives for Tri Delta Executive Office, on February 1. She spoke to the Chapter about the importance of sisterhood, ritual, and intentional membership in Tri Delta. We are incredibly proud of all our members have accomplished this year and appreciate everything our wonderful alumnae do to support the Chapter. We look forward to seeing you all soon.
