KAPPA DELTA TURNS ATTENTION TO ALUMNAE INVOLVEMENT
FOLLOWING CAPITAL CAMPAIGN CONCLUSION
W
e deeply appreciate your support over the past several years. We
have accomplished incredible things together, most notably the
construction of our new house. Our capital campaign, First Sorority, First
Circle… Continuing the Tradition, officially concluded on August 1, 2016.
Together, we raised almost $3 million! For all our hard work and dedication
to this effort, we should be extremely proud.
As we transition out of the capital phase of our growth, we must all turn
our attention to the operational success of KD. We have proved our ability
to coalesce around a common goal since the momentous start of the capital
campaign in 2014. We've spent the past two years reconnecting, building
intergenerational friendships, expanding our networks, and living the
values of what it means to be a KD.
This year in particular, we are shifting our focus to using those alumnae
relationships and resources to achieve operational excellence. Our new
Chapter House is a tool to ensure the continued growth and development
of Kappa Delta. Quite simply, our mission is to serve each other and our
undergraduate members.
We have numerous opportunities to assist with alumnae relations,
academic or career advising, and house maintenance. Please reach out to
the members of the Chapter Advisory Board or House Corporation to let us
know if you'd like to help.
We are grateful for your support and encouragement and look forward
to serving you as we prepare for another fantastic year for KD at the
University of Alabama.
