The first board was championed by Mac Humphries '71. He and his staff of Ken Schwab '77 and Dave Barrett '77 were instrumental in all the machinations of making the house at 1117 E. Elm Street a reality. Not enough can be said of their efforts, and that of many others, in the successful occupation of the new home for our members. Going forward, the role of the Baxter Hall Properties is to forge a relationship with the active chapter and Roger Lantz, the owner of the property, into a cohesive and cooperative collaboration. At Homecoming 2016, a new board of directors was announced. The officers are: President Joe Callahan '72, Vice President Alex Schlitt '13, Treasurer Jeff Schaumburg '12, and Secretary Dave Barrett '77. Their objective is to continue the progress made and ensure Zeta Chi members honor their lease. It is of extreme importance that we make sure the university, fellow students, and Pike alumni are very proud of the way our active chapter is handling having a house of its own on campus. The board will be receiving monthly reports from the house manager in an effort to be aware of any concerns regarding the chapter house. The board is open to any suggestions or input from current members and alumni. If you would like to express any concerns, please contact me.
