Alpha Gamma Rho - Penn State University

3 alpha gamma rho 2 016 has been a great year for Gamma Chapter at Penn State. Gamma Chapter continues its reputation as being one of the most respected and respectful fraternities at Penn State. With its continued participation in THON, philanthropy, and the community, Gamma Chapter is a model fraternity. Overall, the brotherhood has been very enthusiastic and involved in these efforts to make Gamma Chapter into the fraternity that it is today. Over the summer, Ryan Moser '14 (Γ1678), Vincent Favaloro '14 (Γ1671), Eli Kessler '14 (Γ1665), and Cole Swackhamer '15 (Γ1727) attended the Alpha Gamma Rho National Convention in Omaha, Nebraska, with Gamma Chapter Alumni Board President Corey Simmons '04 (Γ1504). The convention spanned from August 10 through 12. After hearing what the Gamma Chapter brothers had to say following the convention, it was a great success. At the convention, our brothers interacted and made connections with ΑΓΡs from other chapters and sat through several business meetings to discuss issues that were voted upon. The connections that the Gamma Chapter brothers made were amazing and have led to visits from brothers from several chapters; Ohio State and Sam Houston State to name two of them. Also, these connections have led to Gamma Chapter traveling to support Penn State football and visit Delta Chapter at Purdue University. As my term comes to an end, I can say that it has been truly an honor to serve as Gamma Chapter's Noble Ruler for the 2016 calendar year. As the new executive board is elected, I will do whatever I can to help with a smooth and easy transition for them. Gamma Chapter will be in good hands with the new executive board, and I will be there to help them whenever needed.
