I was invited to stay at the SAE house during early fall rush before my freshman year. I really liked the brothers I met, the whole feel of the environment, and I pledged. Our pledge class was a great group of men from all over the country and the entire house of brothers gave me such a broadening experience. I credit the fraternity for giving me the balance in my college experience." Lynn graduated from Purdue with a BS in Industrial Management. The week of graduation, Lynn was commissioned as an officer in the Army and married Judy. They have been married for 51 years, have two married daughters, and two grandchildren. The Purdue/SAE experience, coupled with his experiences in the Army, including a year in Vietnam, more than prepared him for future opportunities. Lynn spent 11 years in the corporate world, with several relocations before buying a business in the Philadelphia area and settling down there. "I haven't been back to Purdue for more than 20 years, but I keep up with the SAE news through newsletters form the chapter. It sounds like the chapter carries on a rich tradition of quality young men and great achievements. I decided to give back through my contribution to the building campaign to help make it possible for future young men to enjoy what was so important to me." Lynn and Judy live in the Philadelphia area and, over the years, have been avid boaters and golfers. Lynn continues to manage and develop commercial real estate, and can be reached at lrcoywabash@aol.com. Lynn Coy '64 Supports Indiana Beta
