I n 2021, Alpha Omicron will celebrate our centennial at Oklahoma State University. From our founding to the present, we have pursued and attained high levels of academic achievement, and we have been leaders in virtually every aspect of student life at the University. With more than 2,000 initiates, the Alpha Omicron Chapter has influenced the lives of numerous women, cultivating lasting friendships in the process. As alumnae, we can trace many of our best memories back to our Alpha Delta Pi experience. More than ever, sororities play a significant role in the development of young women, and this growth is crucial in today's competitive world. In addition to the values taught by our sisterhood, other assets we acquire from Alpha Delta Pi include leadership, philanthropic, organizational, and social skills. ese traits are integral to our personal success and help make us the women we are today. Enjoying a past filled with rich tradition and history, Alpha Omicron continues to excel. is much-needed project is driven by the desire to remain competitive in today's recruitment process as well as to prepare for the future of Alpha Omicron. Our goal is to promote sisterhood, values and ethics, high academic standards, and social responsibility. is goal is dependent on alumnae and their involvement in ways we have not experienced in the past. e ability to continue to recruit and retain the best young women also requires that our home at 1309 W. University Avenue be among the best with respect to an academic environment that fosters sisterhood and provides up-to-date housing amenities. e following pages detail an ambitious project to build a new Chapter house. is project will allow Alpha Delta Pi to continue touching lives in the same way it touched yours. Alpha Omicron's Proud History "Alpha Delta Pi, and more specifically the AO house, has always felt like home to me. I grew up in the '80s going with my mom, then living there all four years of college, and finally now as an alumna, I see how a lifetime of sisterhood impacted me. I cherish the memories made at 1309… the sound of the house phone or someone running late for class bounding down the stairs… so of course I wanted to be a part of the next phase and what home means for the future generations walking through." – Amy Slusher Greene '94, Campaign Co-Chairman
