B rothers, we did it! Through the support, dedication, and financial contributions of alumni and the active chapter, it gives us all great pride to announce that the house renovation project is finally com- plete! Since our last newsletter, finishing touches were placed on the for- mal areas of the house, grounds, and the event center expansion. The land- scaping was planted and completed with new irrigation, exterior lighting, and new lettering on the front of the house. Security, audio/video, and IT amenities were all installed and running, the sprinkler system is every- where, NO MORE CRANKY BOILER, and the remaining furniture and décor arrived, along with a renewed energy and pulse in the house. Every- thing was clean and in place for our unveiling at the Alumni Weekend on October 22. On behalf of the MO Alpha team made up of the campaign committee, the chapter advisory board, and the house corporation board, I extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make this dream a reality! The team feels tremendous pride in reaching this point, and we feel the same sense of accomplishment all MO Alphas felt the moment they laid eyes on our renovated home during the unveiling for an institution that has stood the test of time for 150 years. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude for the 276 loyal brothers who have brought our campaign total to $1.41 million thus far. For many of us, this may have seemed impossible to achieve back in April 2015, when our campaign was offi- cially announced. Despite our campaign's tremendous success, however, the remain- ing $80,000 must be raised to reach our $1.5 million goal and to ensure our undergraduate brothers are provided with the best resources to excel both at MO Alpha and on campus. If you are one of the brothers who has donated to the campaign, THANK YOU! If you have not yet made a contribution to this effort, we want you to be a part of this effort and ask that you to make a donation today. If only 80 non-donors would make a do- nation of just $17 per month for the next 60 months or $200 per year for the next five years, we would secure the remain- ing $80,000 and achieve our $1.5 million goal. If you are not in a position to make a multi-year commitment at this time, please consider making a one-time donation for what you can afford today. Gifts of any amount are helpful and appreciated. You also have the option of making your pledge or payment immediately and conveniently.
