We also received the Upper Alpha Award that recognizes the work and excellence of the chapter's board of trustees. Lastly, Gamma Upsilon was able to bring home a brand new True Merit Bowl to add to the trophy case. It has been a long seven years since our last True Merit and I am proud to have brought back our chapter's 17th. Over the summer, the chapter house underwent some amazing renovations, due to the hard work of Parent's Board President Danielle Loven and the board of trustees/corporation board. Thanks to them, the formal room has been completely revamped and looks absolutely stunning. With everything remodeled, from the carpet to the lighting, we are proud of and thankful for our newest update to our ever-improving house. Along with the formal room, our kitchen has been fully renovated. Our new chef service was grateful to receive new kitchen equipment, cupboards, and amenities. As for the fall semester, even more renovations and upgrades to the property are in store. For example, every room is now equipped with higher speed connectivity and new flat panel monitors for group study and visual messaging. This is a very nice amenity for those living in, as well as a solid recruitment tool for future semesters. Gamma Upsilon has seen a plethora of improvements and breakthroughs over the year and we are eager to keep up the momentum into the spring semester.
