A record-breaking enrollment increased Panhellenic recruitment goals for all sororities this year. More than 40,450 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at Purdue this fall—that's 1,042 more than last year. The incoming class of 7,243 freshmen (3,100 females) is the highest since 2006, with 369 more first-year students and a higher number of in-state collegians. Panhellenic raised chapter total to 143 after formal recruitment finished, allowing many chapters to participate in continuous open bidding (COB) to bid additional members.
