If you have made a multi-year pledge, please continue your generosity until your commitment is met. We are still $230,000 away from collecting our total pledged amount. GAMMA XI ALUMNAE FALL KICK-OFF T his fall, the chapter women invited Lubbock alumnae to come and teach them the songs that we loved to sing "back in our day." Everyone had great fun! What it did for me is call to mind a toast we sang as a chapter around 1973. It occurs to me that it sums up quite well our loyalty and dedication to our sisterhood and explains why so many of us have continued to support Gamma Xi even from afar and many years out. Delta Gamma here's to you, to your past and future too, to your glorious alumnae and your active chapter too. Raise your glasses way up high, sing out praises to the sky, Delta Gamma, Delta Gamma, Delta Gamma, 'til we die! My voice is raspy and I can't sing it in tune, but it makes me smile. It brings up faces around a Founder's Day table or circling up after a chapter meeting. Great memories of great and dear friends! Stop and consider a small legacy donation to your chapter and your sisters. It will go far in establishing another generation of memories and friendships. Do you remember what "Tau Delta Eta" inscribed on our crest means? If you've forgotten, call me and I will whisper the meaning to you. Tau Delta Eta, Barbara Robertson '71 Gamma Xi House Corporation President Lubbock alumnae kicked off the year with a puppy shower honoring Guardian and Brandy. Both of these furry anchor mates are part of the Lone Star Guide Dog Raisers. Guardian and Brandy are being raised by some of our Delta Gamma collegians until they are ready to go to guide dog training.
