T h e EACON Fall 2016 B A L P H A T A U O M E G A • D E L T A K A P P A C H A P T E R T he pavestone project has been an important part of our fundraising for the new house; 82 pavestones having been bought at $250 each. Since we have surpassed our Phase I goal for the Building for the Future, A Lifetime of Brotherhood capital campaign, many believe that they can no longer purchase a commemorative pavestone for display at the new ATW chapter house. Nothing could be further from the truth! The Housing Corporation will continue to sell pavestones until we run out of them. The proceeds will be allocated to a fund that will be used solely for upgrades and improvements to the new house. Since we have two pallets of pavestones left over from construction, it is our hope that the pavestone fund can develop into a substantial asset, ensuring our ability to keep up with improvements. The photos to the right show some of the 82 pavestones already in place. Popular themes have been Delta Kappa legacy commemorations, honoring living brothers, and in memory of those we have lost. Simply adding your name or recognizing your pledge brothers have also been popular. Any message can be placed on the pavestones as long as it adheres to the space limit set forth on the order form. Delta Kappa alumni and friends that have been to the new chapter house know that these pavestones are prominently displayed next to the north entrance to the chapter house, which is the primary portal for tailgates as well as everyday use. Please fill out the form to the right and order your pavestone today!
