TAU CHAPTER OF THETA CHI FRATERNITY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA
TAU TOPICS
Fall 2016
W
e are extremely proud of the commitment to brotherhood
shown from all of our alumni at the 100th anniversary
weekend celebration. In our previous newsletter, we called
upon our brothers to join us in celebrating this milestone.
The request was overwhelmingly answered as more than 300
brothers from every generation met in Gainesville to take part
in the historic event.
Our Friday evening cocktail event held at the Chapter House
was a great night. Hundreds of alumni and guests celebrated
Tau Chapter's Centennial, reminisced about their years at the
University of Florida and Theta Chi, and enjoyed a fantastic
evening. On Saturday, hundreds of alumni and their families
enjoyed a barbecue and hung out at the Chapter House.
Saturday night, everyone watched the Gators beat UMass at
the Swamp.
We are especially grateful to all of the brothers who contributed
to the campaign and helped provide a beautiful home for all Tau
brothers to gather and celebrate our Chapter's contributions to
our community and campus. If you wish to donate for the
first time or increase your donation, please contact George
Kramer '96 at gkramer@smeine.com.
We are proud to be among the remarkable men who have
contributed to Tau Chapter's first 100 years of success. The
Realty Board invites you all to leave your mark in making Tau
Chapter an even greater triumph in the next 100 years. Thank
you, alumni, for your support and commitment to brotherhood.
If you couldn't make it to the Centennial Celebration, please
come to the Chapter House this fall to see firsthand the caliber
of the undergraduates we recruit year after year and the house
we are all proud to call home in Gainesville.
Fall 2016 Recruitment
We are pleased to report that Fall 2016 recruitment was
