With the help the commu- nity, Dutch Bros was able to donate $401,212 nationwide to local non-profits serving youth. Locally, $1,700 was raised to benefit Tehama County CASA — Court Ap- pointed Special Advocates. "I'm a kid at heart and love supporting the great opportunities for children to play, grow and receive care through Buck for Kids Day," said Dutch Bros co-founder Travis Boersma. "We are grateful for the work these organizations do every day to support our children and communities." During the event, $1 from every drink sold, company- wide, was donated to local organizations that strive to positively impact children in their communities. The event normally falls on the first Friday in De- cember, but for this year the company moved it to coincide with National Cof- fee Day. "It was so fun to use Na- tional Coffee Day to thank our customers for being so amazing," Boersma said.
