We hosted memorable philanthropic and alumnae events, experienced a major improvement in academics, and we look forward to what the future holds for Delta Psi. mom's weeKend 2016 We had a great turnout for Mom's Weekend this spring, and I had a tremendous amount of positive feedback about the event! The collegians and their moms attended a painting session, had a brunch where we played Bingo and raffled off many amazing prizes, and went shopping. We ended the weekend off with a wine night, which we thoroughly enjoyed. ACAdemiC ACHievements We are excited to announce that we placed third in academics and had 41 4.0s from fall 2015! All of our undergraduate members worked diligently last semester and hope to rise to the number one spot in academics in the near future. "I am unbelievably proud of our chapter. Not only did we make third in grades last fall, but we had the highest percent of actives make above a 3.0," Vice President of Academics Kelsey Sanders '13 said. sisteRHood Bonds gAin stRengtH Sisterhood events this spring included watching a movie in the park, spending a Saturday volunteering at Mission Lubbock, and pairing up with another sorority to host an ice cream party right before finals began! pHilAntHRopiC endeAvoRs Our two big philanthropic events this spring were our annual golf tournament, the Kappa Klassic, which was held on April 2, and the Kappa Krawfish, which was held on May 1. We are overjoyed by the success of the events and that we were able to contribute our donations to Children's Miracle Network. We had the maximum amount of players possible for the golf tournament and had a great turnout for both events. AlumnAe AlwAys welCome I would like to thank our advisory board, house corporation board, and all of the wonderful alumnae for their continued support of the Delta Psi Chapter. We owe you so much and truly could not be where we are at today without your loyal support.
