Faye Daugherty Wallace '88 is the mother of
three beautiful children, and is thrilled to have
become a grandmother again in November
2015. Her daughter, Taylor, was married in
August 2014, and her other daughter, Morgan,
was married in August 2015. Her son, Peyton,
began his sophomore year of high school this
fall. Faye loves her Kappa sisters, and cherishes
the opportunities she gets to spend time with

April Simpson Grusing '89 has lived in
Denver, Colo., for the past 19 years. April has
taught middle school science for 12 of those
years. Her husband, Jon's, career with the FBI is
what brought them to Colorado. Their daughter,
Bethany, graduated from high school this spring,
and her son, Ben, is a sophomore in high school.

Carrie Baum Hendrix '92 has led a bible study
for coaches' wives for the past six years. She also
had the opportunity to speak at church and be
the speaker for a weekend-long women's retreat.
Carrie is beginning her own real estate brokerage.
Above all, Carrie and her husband, Ed, stay busy
with their two teenage daughters, Abby, a senior
in high school, and Maggie, a sophomore in high

Colette Miller Martinez '94 has fun being a
busy mom of two boys, Colton (11) and Caran
(9), and daughter, Isabella (2). Colette runs
her own cosmetics business as a sales director
for Mary Kay. In her free time, she enjoys
participating in marathons and triathlons. She
ran her sixth marathon in December. Colette
married her Texas Tech sweetheart. The couple
lives in Trophy Club, Texas, where her husband
owns his own medical practice, First Med.

Mindy James LeBlanc '96 has worked for 10
years for the National MS Society, where she
works on the MS bike ride from Houston to
Austin. The organization raises more than $20
million annually to change to world for people
affected by MS. Mindy and her husband, Mark,
have a daughter, Addi (5). They keep busy as
a family through cycling, running, and Addi's
swim, dance, and gym activities. They reside in

Danika works as the physician liaison for one
of the major hospitals in Waco. Her husband is
