E-mail: sandespears@suddenlink.net Nell Walter Hunt '62 serves on the Irving ISD School Board and says, "Education is where the rubber meets the road for the future of our country." She has also founded a community patriotic project called Great Flag Caper, which has been featured in The Key. In her down time, she plays basketball with her grandson and takes all of her grandkids along to volunteer with her. Nell resides in Irving, Texas. She also teaches one day a week at the RISD Environmental Center. Clara has four grandkids who keep her busy, along with her P.E.O. activities. Pamela and her husband, Joe, have six grandchildren and have celebrated 49 years of marriage. She and her husband, Mike, enjoy traveling, skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking. She also spends a great deal of time volunteering to help the community, often with her sister, Linda Hill Tidmore '61. Sharon loves to travel to New York City, read, and oil paint. Sharon and her husband, Randall, live in Duncan where their dog, Rolex, rules the house. "I remain active as a proud KKG alumna." Gwen Christy was born back in August of 2014 to Ryan and Allison Christy; they reside in Denver, Colo. Her son and his family reside in Washington, D.C., while her daughter and her family live in London. She is also overjoyed to be a grandmother. She, along with several alumnae, have stressed to active members the significance of remaining optimistic about friendship opportunities after college.
