for New Officers
W
hile construction continues on the Chapter
House, some of the alumni on the board
are admitting to burnout after almost 10 years in
officer positions! The vice president and High Pi
positions are open right now, while president and
treasurer will be up for election by Homecoming
2017. Current officers welcome younger alumni
brothers to step up by running for an officer
position on the board.
Responsibilities include:
• Taking the online Lambda Chi Alpha Alumni
Volunteer Certification Process every two years,
which provides liability insurance protection for
officers.
• Holding officer terms for three years.
• Attending two meetings a year on the Saturdays
of Homecoming and St. Pat's.
President
Chairman of the meeting, shall execute all
contracts and documents upon authorization of
the board.
Vice President
In the absence or incapacity of the president,
performs all duties.
Secretary
Keeps the minutes and prepares the agenda for
the meetings.
Treasurer
Has custody of the funds and signs checks for
the corporation.
High Pi
Serves as the active Chapter advisor. They are
recommended by the Chapter and approved by
Lambda Chi Alpha. Has the ability to attend
most Chapter meetings in person or by electronic
communications.
