Krusen Jr. D'47 moved to Fayetteville, Ark., in November of 2014. He spent the last two and a half years as a general sales manager for Canada Pipe Company, subsidiary of McWane Wahomes, whose headquarters is in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He is handicapped and unable to walk, but gets around in a power chair. In his career, he served as the editor of Heavy Duty Truckin at Newport Communications. Savage D'64 married Deborah Tillet in 2004, after his wife of 37 years passed away of Alzheimer's disease in 2003. His daughters have all married and live in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Finksburg, Md. Chisolm III D'65 retired from Cleveland Clinic, where he worked as the vice chairman of research, and moved from Chapel Hill at the end of 2013. He is happily living in North Carolina with his wife, Kimberly. E-mail: guyschisolmiii@gmail.com David W. Wood Jr. D'67 considers himself to be a very lucky man after surviving a traumatic accident. While on a luxury fly fishing trip (silver salmon, rainbow trout, grayling, arctic char) to a remote part of Alaska, he and his close friend were involved in a crash on takeoff from East Wind Lake, Illiamna, Alaska. There were 10 aboard the deHaviland Turbo-Otter float plane when it crashed into the tundra. David was one of the lucky seven who survived. Three people died, including his friend of 49 years. David sustained seven rib fractures, a fractured scapula, a fractured left fibula, bilateral pneumothorax (collapsed lungs), many lacerations and bruises, and could not fly home for two weeks. He was taken to a hospital in Anchorage by an Air National Guard C-130 and spent five days in the hospital, and another 10 days in an Anchorage hotel. He was cared for by his wife and daughter who flew from Paris, where they were on vacation. David reminds his brothers to "be thankful for every day—you never know when it may be your last." He was employed with a regional bank, Rainier Bank, then with a small waste management operation with holdings in Arizona, and finally as a family office manager. Charley is now retired, and he and his wife, Sheila Wyckoff-Dickey, have three "age-identical" boys, all launched. Charley has been a competitive road cyclist for the past 10 years. They are happy to be free of shoveling snow in the Northeast and built a house in Ponte Vedra, only 20 miles south of Jacksonville. They love southern living. Michael corresponds regularly by e-mail with Brothers Dave Young D'69, Henry Livingston D'65, Richard Woodville D'67, Charles Dickey III D'68, Chris Reece D'69, Gene Clapp D'69, and Paul "Tim" Thompson III D'68. Wood D'74 tries cases for product manufacturers, distributors, and contractors alleged to have caused cancer in California state courts. He manages an extensive litigation docket. Christopher enjoys living in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife of 32 years, Migmome. Their children are grown, healthy, and prospering in their pursuits.
