The fourth oldest building in the county, ac- cording to volunteers, it was a one-room school house with a Masonic Lodge housed in the up- per level before becoming a church in the 1880s after the school outgrew it. It was later a storage room and finally the museum. On Saturday, attendees had the chance to pe- ruse the Marty Graffell Annex where a group was spinning fiber in one corner, Judy's Coun- try Store was selling homemade goodies in an- other and the Corning Tuesday Art Group had a display of artwork. Outside in Habert Park, visitors had about 35 booths of all kinds to peruse along with vintage cars and old-fashioned games manned by the Re- enactors of the American Civil War. The Molino Masonic Lodge provided free id kits for parents, which included a picture and fingerprint of their child that could be used by police if they went missing. "Our part is not going to anything specific," Aux- iliary President Carmen Gleason said. "We use it wherever it is needed and right now we are rebuild- ing out funds." There are several proj- ects down the road such as the new curtain for the main stage, for which the group received an $11,000 estimate four years ago, Gleason said. Past proj- ects have included replac- ing the banquet silverware after 30 years, cups, new chairs for the foyer. The group was recently able to put a fan in the fireside room that a group playing cards weekly had been asking for a while about as well as a chan- delier in the foyer thanks to the generosity of Chuck Richardson, said Chris Hurton, Red Bluff Com- munity Center and Recre- ation Supervisor.
