AlwAys Anchored Alpha Omega Chapter of Delta Gamma • University of Arkansas • Summer 2016 (Right, below) Alumnae gathered for a reunion in Fayetteville, where they toured the campus, visited Crystal Bridge, and ate breakfast at 1002 W. Maple. T his fall, Alpha Omega is making its return to the University of Arkansas! We are ecstatic to join the 10 other Panhellenic chapters on campus and help Greek life reach new heights. With this exciting opportunity, we are thrilled to launch an alumnae relations program. It is our goal to increase interest in Delta Gamma by creating new and unique ways to connect with one another. Through this program, alumnae will have more opportunities to keep in touch, be informed of various events and reunions, and be updated on the re-establishment through biannual newsletters. ENHANCING COMMUNICATION Alpha Omega is committed to sharing the success of our chapter and allowing alumnae to share their Delta Gamma experiences. You should have recently received an alumnae update request form. We encourage you to take a few moments to fill this out and return it if you haven't already. These updates help us maintain our records and efficiently communicate with our sisters locally and around the world. Your alumnae news could even be featured in an upcoming issue of Always Anchored. We are always interested in hearing from you. If you have any suggestions, ideas for articles, or are interested in volunteering, please contact me using the information below. We truly value your input in this effort. LOOKING TO THE FUTURE While Alpha Omega may have a long way to go, this is a prime opportunity to continue instilling our values of friendship, education, social responsibility, and character into the next generation of Delta Gammas at the University of Arkansas. If you know a young woman attending the University of Arkansas this fall who is unaffiliated with another chapter, please see the list on page 2 on how to sponsor a potential new member. GETTING INVOLVED We encourage all members of Alpha Omega to reconnect with Delta Gamma. There are many opportunities to volunteer. Whether you are local or across the country, we have a place for you, and we cannot think of a better way to reunite with our alumnae. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! We look forward to the future of our chapter at the University of Arkansas.
