Officer Transition Retreat and Scholarship Review T he officer transition retreat and scholarship review took place in early May, where several brothers were awarded scholarships. Matt Achelpohl '16 received his check from Mike Schmidt '75 at the event. Matt received a .975 evaluation on his work and $1,850 for two semesters, both of which were the highest of the day. Evaluations ranged from .55 to .975 and a total of $5,060 was awarded to the SigEp officer corps, which covers one semester. Brotherhood development is meant to fulfill the promise of the Balanced Man concept of continuous development throughout one's college experience. It is a challenging program that is limited only by the imagination of the vice president of brotherhood development. The outgoing VP of brotherhood development, Matt Achelpohl, did a fantastic job developing a program that moved the rock.
