Internally, we have focused on improving positions and the culture of the Alpha. This past spring quarter, we achieved the highest academic average in the history of Alpha Theta Delta, with a 3.46 GPA. Through our heavy emphasis on academics, we were able to win the Goodbody Trophy, awarded for academic excellence, at the annual Chi Psi national convention. From a philanthropic standpoint, our Stuff the Bus philanthropy has continued to raise more than 10,000 pounds of food each year for the Food Lifeline distribution center. Internal leadership has excelled in the last year, with more and more brothers wanting to be involved with positions in the Alpha. This sparked the first ever executive council retreat, where goals were set for the school year. Externally, many brothers are involved at the University of Washington, with about 50 percent of our actives involved in clubs or organizations on campus. Our sorority relations have also excelled. Chase Olson '18 brought home the title of Anchorman for the second consecutive year in Delta Gamma's philanthropy, Anchor Splash, which benefits Service for Sight and Aid to the Blind. In addition, Max Rose '19 won Alpha Gamma Delta's Mr. Greek competition, which raises money for Treehouse for Kids, making it Alpha Theta Delta's fourth consecutive Mr. Greek title. We've raised $33,000 during the last four years in this philanthropy event alone! We look forward to continuing Theta Delta's tradition of excellence for years to come.
