Marsee Jr. '52 entered Chapter Eternal on February 5, 2015. From 1953 to 1970, he taught, coached, and was the athletic director at South Broward High School, Hollywood, Florida. Auburn All-American Tucker Frederickson played on his high school basketball team. From 1970 to 1984, he coached golf and taught at Broward Community College, where his teams won two National Junior College Championships. In 1984, he re-started the women's golf program at Auburn University and won an SEC Championship in 1989. He became assistant men's golf coach in 1992 and retired in 1997. After retirement, he and Barbara continued traveling and doing college golf tournament scoreboards together. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara; son, Richard; grandsons, Ryan and Jeremy; and countless family and friends. ALUMNI NEWS Roger M. Dierkes '48 and his wife of 68 years, Janet, have two children, Sandra and John, eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. E-mail: rmd2214@verizon.net A. Thomas Sprich III '53 and his wife, Tina, are enjoying good health in Grand Rapids, Mich. They have two children and their granddaughter recently appeared on Broadway in New York. Russell Quilhot '55 was inducted into the American Horse Association Breeders Hall of Fame on February 13 along with his wife, Jeanette, and their farm, Indiana Creek Morgan Farm. Russ and Jeanette live in Roanoke, Ind., and have six children: Charles, David, Druscilla, Sally, Arne, and John. Bob F. Lark '56 lost his wife of 56 years, Madell, in July 2015. He lives in Eden Prairie, Minn., and has three children: Douglas, Stuart, and Patty. Robert L. Collins Jr. '59 retired from the University of Louisville as a professor of mechanical engineering in 1999. He enjoys retirement in Oro Valley, Ariz. He and his wife, JoAnn, have two sons, Ronald and Jeffrey. Bob Altenkirch '70 (University of Alabama in Huntsville president), Rodger Elble '71 (neurologist in Springfield, Ill.), and Cliff Owens '70 (retired medical technology company executive) reunited after 45 years last summer. They were also celebrating 45 years of marriage with their wives. Kim R. Arbuckle '79 started a chain of high-end cigar lounges called Blend Bar with Davidoff Cigars.
