the Alpha Omegan p. 2 www.ufato.org While these are positive and encouraging outcomes of our collective efforts in recent years, these accomplishments are merely the foundation from which we will continue to build Alpha Omega in the years to come. Now, perhaps more than ever, your engagement in the affairs of the Chapter is critical, and I hope you will join me in finding areas of opportunity where your time or your resources can be a valuable addition to the Alpha Omega experience. The Chapter is always receptive to alumni support, including helping pay down the remaining debt on the renovation project, providing recommendations of prospective new members from your community, supporting active members with career advice and internship opportunities, serving in a position on the House Corporation or Board of Trustees, and simply visiting the Tau Mansion and sharing your positive influence with our active members when you are in town for a game or other matters. Today, we celebrate the progress we have achieved together by simply taking an active alumni role and making plans for addressing the urgent needs of our beloved Chapter. My sincere hope, much as it was nearly nine years ago, is there will always be a need for us to plan for the future of Alpha Omega at the University of Florida. Of course, my hope presumes there also will always be a need and a place for each of you in helping to build that legacy. Thanks for all you have done to help us reach this important milestone for Alpha Omega. Love and Respect, John B.
